What does Option Way’s assistance insurance cover?

Our insurance includes the essential cover you need to deal with any unforeseen circumstances. These types of insurance only cover the flight part of your booking.

This insurance can only be taken out after purchase. If you meet the required conditions, you will receive an email to complete your subscription.

Assistance insurance contains:  

  •        Medical expenses overseas including COVID-19 (up to €150,000)
  •        Repatriation assistance (actual costs) and hotel costs in case of quarantine (COVID-19)
  •        Compensation if your luggage is lost or stolen
  •        Legal assistance overseas

The Helvetia/VYV and Neat insurance offered above is valid for any trip up to a maximum of 3 months. 

Important: both types of insurance exclude flights taken against the advice of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Please make the necessary enquiries beforehand.

The insurances do not cover circumstances where it is not possible to complete the travel (due to movement restrictions from the departure, transit and/or destination country or due to a carrier failure).
